Oscars 2021: Organisers Reveal Event Details Ahead Of April 25 Ceremony

Scheduled to finally take place on April 25, 2021, the Academy Awards, or Oscars, will be an in-person event that will air live from multiple locations, revealed the event organisers this week. A spokesperson for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences mentioned in a statement that despite the Covid-19 epidemic disrupting the usual routine of several high-profile events, organisers are “determined to present an Oscars like none other, while prioritising the public health and safety of all those who will participate”, reported Reuters.

“To create the in-person show our global audience wants to see, while adapting to the requirements of the pandemic, the ceremony will broadcast live from multiple locations, including the landmark Dolby Theatre.” The said theatre has played host to the Oscars for the past many years. In normal circumstances, hundreds of the world’s leading film stars would head to Los Angeles, like every year, in drool-worthy outfits and take the red carpet by storm.
