Over the weekend, Pakistani actress, Aamina Sheikh tied the knot with a mystery man and took her fans and followers by surprise. She shared a few posts of flowers which were followed by a cryptic post of three palms hand in hand with two wedding rings placed in the middle of the top hand. She paced her Instagram posts until she finally shared a picture with her beau and created a buzz on social media.
Fans and celebrity friends took to the comments section to congratulate the Cake actress and we too, couldn’t be happier. Celebrities including the likes of Mansha Pasha, Momal Sheikh, Mahira Khan and Sarwat Gilani all took to Instagram to share congratulatory messages and send their well wishes her way. And while we had no idea who her mystery man was, Aamina Sheikh has now finally revealed his name.
Taking to her Instagram this morning, Aamina Sheikh shared another series of pictures which also includes a close up of her face from her Nikkah day. Aamina Sheikh looks gorgeous and there’s nothing we love more than a minimalistic Nikkah bride. In another post, the actor shared a verse from the Holy Quran which was followed by a lovely collage of her husband with her daughter who she shares with ex-husband, Mohib Mirza.
In a final post, Aamina Sheikh has shared a few words to thank all her friends, fans and followers for their well wishes in which she signs off the post with both their names. The post reads, “We sincerely thank you for the abundant love that each one of you has showered upon us. Please keep us in your prayers. May Allah protect and guide us all. Ameen. Aamina and Omar Farooqui.”
Aamina Sheikh was earlier married to actor Mohib Mirza for 14 years and together they share a four-year-old daughter. Since their split, Aamina Sheikh has been missing in action and has tried to stay away from the limelight. She did however start her IGTV channel for children stuck indoors during the lockdown period which did rather well with her audiences.

Mohib Mirza on the other hand will be seen in a film called Ishrat. He was last seen on screen in a romantic-comedy alongside Sanam Saeed, titled Bachaana.
