It’s safe to say that 2020 has been an eventful year. From the Coronavirus pandemic, to tragedies around the world, to quarantine weddings and more, there’s probably nothing that could surprise us further. Or is there? Just as we started scrolling through our Instagram feeds this morning, we came across a couple of posts by Pakistani actor Aamina Sheikh which suggest that the starlet has tied the knot. That’s right!
Scrolling through her feed we saw that she started by sharing a grid with the words “Bismillah” on a white background. Minutes later came a picture of a beautiful bouquet of flowers and what followed was something that none of us expected. The next picture showed a picture of two hands, we’re assuming it’s her hand in his, and two rings in the palm of her hand.
The picture was accompanied with no caption but the actor’s celebrity friends took to the comments section to congratulate her and it is safe to assume that the Cake actress has tied the knot. “Bohat bohat Mubarak,” wrote Zara Noor Abbas, while Sunita Marshall commented, “Congratulationsss,” with a number of heart emojis.

Aamina Sheikh has neither tagged her mystery man in the photograph and nor was anyone aware that she was all set to tie the knot. Aamina Sheikh was earlier married to actor Mohib Mirza for 14 years and together they share a four-year-old daughter. Since their split, Aamina Sheikh has been missing in action and has tried to stay away from the limelight. She did however start her IGTV channel for children stuck indoors during the lockdown period which did rather well with her audiences.
Mohib Mirza on the other hand will be seen in a film called Ishrat. He was last seen on screen in a romantic-comedy alongside Sanam Saeed, titled Bachaana.
