In a short clip that has grabbed eyeballs on Facebook, Siddiqui shared that he’s currently in Istanbul. He begins with showing the picturesque view and then points the camera towards the maker of the popular Turkish show Dirili? Ertu?rul. Siddiqui can be heard saying, “Right now, I’m with Qadir Sahab, and he is the man who created Ertu?rul; his company created it.”

He then ends the video with a teaser, saying, “InshaAllah you will be having some good news.” Social media users are now wondering whether Siddiqui is in talks with Mr Qadir for an upcoming project. Imagine if the ‘good news’ he is hinting at involves a collaboration with the makers of Ertu?rul? That would be too exciting! Or, it could very possibly also be another Turkish TV series making its way to Pakistan. Whatever it is, time will tell but Siddiqui has definitely left us wanting the best possible outcome from his meetup with Mr Qadir, whose team was responsible for brining the highly popular Dirili? Ertu?rul to life. The show has become a favourite of people from all ages and is definitely one of Turkish cinema’s best works to date.
