Amna Ilyas calls out fraternity, fairness creams for promoting wrong beauty standards

Model-turned actor, Amna Ilyas has surely become a force to be reckoned with after numerous successful years in the industry. She gained prominence with her modelling career and has walked the ramps season after season, one designer to another and has also been part of a number of high end campaigns. She proved her mettle over the years with her confident walk, her pretty features and her million-dollar smile. After spending a reasonable time on the ramps and modelling for various designers, Amna Ilyas has tried her hand at the big screen.

 

Moving away from her modelling days, Amna Ilyas has been seen in films including the likes of Gardaab, Dekh Magar Pyaar Se and more recently, Baaji and Ready Steady No. Amna Ilyas has always been an avid user of social media and uses her Instagram as a way of keeping her thousands of fans updated and entertained. She is also known to use the platform to shed light on important issues and has on many occasions highlighted the discrimination dusky-skinned girls in the industry face, including herself.
