Pakistan Film Producers Association (PFPA) has been working continuously with the Ministry of Information and other related organizations to bring to the notice of authorities for the revision of Film Policy left unfinished in 2016. However, their attempts were delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It seems like their hard work is finally paying off, with the PFPA back on track to achieve its goal. According to Chairman Pakistan Film Producers Association, Sh. Amjad Rashid, the organization will also be hosting an event for a formal announcement, which will see stakeholders in attendance too, stated a press release. He revealed that a delegate of PFPA will be meeting with Bajwa on Monday, 21st September 2020, to seek more details and assure full support for the implementation. The latest progress is indeed a step in the right direction. Here’s hoping for the revival of Pakistan’s film industry – a big moment we all have been waiting for!
