Bakhtawar Bhutto Clarifies Misinformation Surrounding Fiancé: Here Is Everything To Know About Him

News of late Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari’s eldest daughter, Bakhtawar Bhutto’s engagement hit the internet two days ago and still has people talking about the same. Speculations surrounding her fiancé-to-be – from what he looks like to where he is from and how the couple met have been making the rounds ever since various media outlets reported that the duo is all set to get engaged this month. Now, 10 days ahead of the big day, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has rubbished the rumours and clarified the misinformation being shared on social and electronic media surrounding Bakhtawar’s personal life.

The statement confirmed that the engagement will be held on November 27, 2020. It added, “Mahmood Choudhry is the son of Mohammad Younas and Begum Suraiya Choudhry who hail from the old town of Lahore, Pakistan. Mr Younas migrated to the United Arab Emirates in 1973 where through hard-work he established businesses in the construction and transport industry. Mahmood, the last born of 5 siblings, was born on July 28, 1988 in the city of Abu Dhabi.” For those who have been curiously inquiring about his age, let’s just put it out there: He is 32 years old.

The formal announcement continued, “He completed his primary schooling in Abu Dhabi and secondary schooling in the United Kingdom. Mahmood further went on to read law at the University of Durham. The family’s primary country of residence remains the United Arab Emirates where Mahmood continues to run his business in construction, finance and tech.” Bakhtawar also took to the micro-blogging site to inform people that Mahmood has no link with the United States, as reported by several publications earlier. “Thank you everyone for the good wishes. Unfortunately, the cards were leaked before even scheduled to be officially sent! Have absolutely NO affiliation with any family in the US which is being popularly quoted by most media. Hope this clears up all misinformation,” she posted.
