Several Pakistanis have been severely hit by the second wave of the coronavirus infection, which has proven to be deadlier for most of who have contracted it. From politicians including Aamir Liaqat and Murad Ali Shah to entertainment personalities such as model Farwa Kazmi, celebrity couple Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz, a bevy of renowned stars have also tested positive for the virus in the recent past. The latest star to have been diagnosed with Covid-19 is veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari. While he remains in stable condition, he is currently under observation at a private hospital in Karachi.
Behroze found out that he had been infected by the novel coronavirys six days ago, revealed his son and actor Shahroz Sabzwari while talking to The Express Tribune. “His test came positive some six days ago and he is in the hospital since,” Shahroz said. “He is not in the Covid ward because he is fine, but since he is above 60, he needs to be kept under observation,” he added.

Shahroz also requested prayers for his father’s speedy recovery and urged everyone to take necessary precautions as the Covid-19 positivity ratio continues to be on the rise in main cities across Pakistan. “We are in a pandemic and it’s our responsibility to let everyone. We are following all the standard operating procedures and hoping things will get better soon,” he stated. “I can’t sit idle because I am the only child. We’re all glad he is out danger now. But the initial days were tough, and we were all really worried. Now it’s all better and we hope it stays that way,” Shahroz concluded, adding that the rest of the family remains in quarantine.
