Chupke Chupke Episode 11: Meenu and Faazi’s Wedding Preparations Are In Full Swing

“Chupke Chupke” is the talk of the town, leaving its audience in splits after each and every episode. The story of two warring women (once married to the same man) and their families, “Chupke Chupke” is light-hearted, mindless viewing that brings happiness to its audience. Written by Saima Akram Chaudhry and directed by Danish Nawaz, the show stars Osman Khalid Butt, Ayeza Khan, Arsalan Naseer, Aymen Saleem, Uzma Beg, Asma Abbas, Farhan Ali Agha, Tara Mehmood, Mira Sethi, Ali Safina Hira Soomro and others in an excellent ensemble cast.

The romance between Hadi (Arsalan Naseer) and Mishi (Aymen Saleem) has taken off and how with the two winning the hearts of viewers. While Mishi has always been interested in Hadi, it’s only recently that Hadi has become aware of this – but his reactions have not only hurt Mishi, but have also left the audience frustrated. Hadi has several reasons for lashing out at Mishi for the words Mirchi overheard her saying (that Hadi doesn’t have any respect for her love), the first being that Mishi is already engaged to someone else, a fact that he states to Mishi outright while verbally thrashing her. Second, he is hesitant due to the respect and trust Faazi (Osman Khalid Butt) has in him. The two are not only brothers, but best friends, and he doesn’t want to go after his best friend’s sister when there’s already so much family drama between them. And of course, that brings us to the final reason, their warring grandmothers. With Naik Parwar (Asma Abbas) and Bakhtoo (Uzma Beg) constantly at each other’s throats, would the two ever agree to getting their grandchildren married? However, without any spoilers, thanks to an upcoming twist, will this issue be valid for much longer? Arsalan and Aymen share such wonderful chemistry, they have quickly become television’s sweethearts.

Meanwhile, as the weddings of Meenu (Ayeza Khan) and Faazi (Osman Khalid Butt) are set to take place within the same family, Gul (Mira Sethi) leaves no stone unturned to cause trouble and get this marriage canceled. She begins with asking Samira’s family for a car on the wedding, something which not only upsets Samira, but also her entire family, as Faazi attempts to pacify her. To make matters worse, she also pays a visit to Meenus family and convinces Naik Parwar and family to demand a high haq meeher. While the family hasn’t agreed yet, will they play into Gul’s hands? Gul is a selfish character, one who is obsessed with her own brother and cannot stand to see anyone step out of line from what she wants – and seeing her brother happy with his wife is clearly something she cannot digest. With Asher already frustrated with Meenu’s childish behavior, will this be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?

Tanaa Banaa Episode 8: Zain and Zoya Have Their First Fight

Ayeza Khan is the star of this show, that’s a fact that cannot be denied. She is so funny and cute as Meenu, she lights up the screen every time she makes an appearance. Her chemistry with Osman Khalid Butt only highlights this and the two work so well together. Of course, the entire cast here deserves a shoutout, as the “Daadis” (Asma Abbas, Uzma Beg) also play a large hand in the comedy quotient, along with Tara Mehmood, Farhan Ali Agha and even the younger actors. “Chupke Chupke” is just what the doctor ordered during these high-stress times, not only providing light-hearted comedy during Ramadan, but also serving as a much-needed distraction from world issues.
