If you’ve been anywhere near social media in the recent past, you’ll know that model-turned actor Amna Ilyas has been creating quite the stir. From talking about the use of fairness creams in the industry, to an old interview surfacing in which she was seen making fun of Aaminah Haq, to rumours of her tying the knot, Amna Ilyas has left no stone unturned to ensure she is making headlines.
After recently shunning rumours of her and director Dawar Mehmood’s alleged wedding, has now hinted at a budding romance. The Baaji actor recently uploaded a video in which she and Dawar Mehmood were seen together and the latter making a gesture to the audience. “To all the people spreading rumours, take this from me!” he said, with Ilyas adding, “The thing is very simple, I don’t have any boyfriend but he has a lot of girlfriends. The poor man is receiving death threats from all over Pakistan. So kindly stop spreading rumours.”
However, in another turn of events, Amna Ilyas uploaded a lovely picture of herself in which we are truly feeling the Autumn vibes. She very appropriately captioned the picture “Falling in love.”
While it may be a very normal picture for her to post in the midst of the turning seasons, one particular comment caught our attention. None other than Dawar Mehmood went on to comment on the post saying, “Already in love,” to which Ilyas responded with a heart emoji.
And this is not the only interaction between the two. A week earlier, Dawar had uploaded a picture with the model in which the two were seen cutting her birthday cake together. “Comic timing, expressions, emotions, she nails it to the core! One of the finest actors I’ve worked with by far,” he captioned the post. Dawar then added sarcastically (we hope), “But agar shakal bhi utnee hee achee ho toh kya baat hai (if only your face was as great as your talents).”
“Happy birthday pretty,” he concluded.

And now, the director took to his Instagram and shared a picture of himself with Amna Ilyas in which he can be seen wearing a pair of quirky shades which we happen to believe belong to Amna Ilyas. Why? You ask. Because the mode-turned actor took to the comments section and said, “I like them better on you,” with a kissing emoji.
Now we could just be jumping to conclusions, but we have every reason to believe there is a budding romance brewing up.
