One of the most awaited drama serials of the year, the first teaser of Dunk was recently unveiled and already has fans gripped with excitement. Starring Sana Javed, Bilal Abbas and Noman Ijaz in titular roles, it brings to light the subject of assault towards women. The latter essays the role of a professor (Humayun) accused of harassing Sana’s character (Amal) at the educational institution he teaches at. Bilal as Haider seeks support for the alleged victim. Whether the storyline does justice to the grave issue it aims to address is something we are fervent to see. Directed by Badar Mehmood, the upcoming drama is produced by Fahad Mustafa under Big Bang Entertainment.
The action-packed teaser kicks off with angry protestors holding placards reading ‘Stop Harassment’. It then progresses to Sana presenting her case, stating “Meri baat pay yaqeen karein. Jhoot bol rahe hain professor Humayun (Please believe me. Professor Humayun is lying).” Media personnel can be seen pestering Sana to get the real story out of her while Noman’s character gets beaten up with shoes. Twitter has been filled with praises for the three leads and their stellar acting in short promo.
