Theme parks Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and indoor adventure hub CLYMB are ready to reopen this week, on Wednesday, 29th July 2020. The operational hours for the theme parks will be 11 am – 8 pm daily while CLYMB will operate from 11 am – 9 pm daily.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will be giving exclusive entry on Tuesday, 28th July 2020 to annual pass-holders who book their visit online. The annual pass-holders will also be receiving an extension on their passes for the duration that the parks were closed following the outbreak of coronavirus.
The three entertainment venues will be observing strict preventive measures in order to ensure their visitors have a safe and enjoyable time. Some of the safety measures that have been implemented include:
- installation of thermal screening cameras;
- advance online booking for all guests in order to ensure compliance with the rule for limited operational capacity of 30 percent;
- no character meet and greets;
- social distancing markers across rides and outlets; and
- modifications to rides, shopping and dining experiences.
When guests book their tickets online, they will receive a confirmation email along with details of all the health and safety measures in place at the venues so that they know what to expect. They are also being encouraged to download the smart apps for each destination in order to have a contactless experience during their visits. They will be required to wear face masks at all times and will be encouraged to sanitise their hands frequently. Service attendants will be present across the parks in order to assist visitors and answer any queries. Staged entertainment shows are expected to also return to the theme parks at a later date with new physical distancing measures. Meanwhile, water park Yas Waterworld will remain closed until further notice.
