Hania Amir And Ali Rahman Starrer Parde Mein Rahne Do Teaser Is Out Now

Wajaha Rauf’s cinematic venture Parde Mein Rahne Do is a light-hearted RomCom that carries a social message.
Thankfully, life is slowly but surely coming back to normalcy after a pandemic halt. The entertainment industry that was greatly affected by the COVID-19 is finally reviving and coming back to life as well. With lots of movie trailers releasing, the much-awaited movie teaser of Parde Main Rahne Do was also released over the weekend. Parde Main Rahne Do’s shoot came to a standstill during the COVID-19 pandemic but the project started shooting and wrapped filming in Feb 2021.
From the makers of Chhalawa, Karachi Sai Lahore, and Lahore Sai Agay, Showcase Films brings another masala RomCom movie Parde Main Rahne Do. This is the fourth directorial venture of very methodical and dynamic veteran director Wajahat Rauf. While it stars our very own vivacious and bubbly Hania Amir and Ali Rahman in the lead roles. The stellar cast also includes Jawed Shaikh, Saifee Hassan, Munazza Harif, Hassan Raza, Sadia Faisal, Noor ul Hassan Muhammad, and Sonia Nazir. From the trailer, it feels that “Parde Main Rahne do” is going to be a complete masala-packed entertainer. Saying it because the teaser itself gave all kinds of eerie, bizarre, funny, and eccentric feelings.
The trailer starts with a wedding ceremony where the groom sits on a horse while his friends and family dance away to the beat of trumpets and dhol. All of a sudden, Jawed Sheikh appears on the balcony across the wedding venue to joke about the wedding night (uncomfortable much?). Next thing we know, the clip jumps to shots of Hania Aamir showing smiling and enjoying on the beach while Ali Rehman has clearly just woken up from a nap. The two characters can then be seen celebrating their anniversary and later seems like both lovers have been separated by unfortunate circumstances.
Talking about the movie to Bol News, Wajahat Rauf says: “We have tackled it very carefully since there is a thin line which we don’t intend to cross. Especially when a social issue is discussed. We took care of the fact that no one’s sentiments should get hurt and it should remain on the lighter side.”
“Parde Mein Rehne Do” will be touching a social stigma but other than that it’s challenging to make much of the teaser released. The trailer is getting mixed responses from fans all over the world.
