‘I have a joke’ Memes Take Over Twitter And Social Media Users Cannot Get Enough Of It!

The covid-19 pandemic has resulted in people resorting to all kinds of entertainment while being stuck inside their homes. We’re not complaining though! From time to time, several trends take over Twitter and make our day. The recent one to make headlines is the #Ihaveajoke hash tag which has taken the internet by storm. It all started as a bid to share funny comments related to different professions and has now become much more than that! “I have a joke on doctor but but aap pehle fees jama karao,” was the first of many posts to hit the micro-blogging site. Many others took inspiration from this template and went on to sharing their personal experiences about their jobs or by taking a jibe at other professions.

“I have a client service joke or I don’t have a cone service joke of course I definitely have one or never! but let me get back on that,” wrote one user. Another added, “I have an intern joke and it… nevermind.” From job despairs to slamming stereotypes, desi users have become addicted to the meme template. Celebrities and brands have also jumped on to the bandwagon, with many of them using the template to share a joke online.
