There are a few on-screen pairings that fans always wish to see, especially involving those actors who are stellar at their work, share a potentially crackling chemistry and are undeniably talented. The latest star duo to be making the buzz around town is none other than actors Imran Abbas and Saba Qamar. While the two have never been cast in a project together, there is always a first time for everything. And, according to a latest report by Dawn Images, Abbas and Qamar will be sharing screen space for the first time ever in an upcoming project. Yes, you read that right and we are as excited as you probably are right now!
Abbas and Qamar have joined hands for a new serial titled Tumhare Husn Ke Naam. As per the publication, the series is being shot in both Karachi and Lahore. “The subject is very nice and unusual, different from what is happening these days,” Abbas told Images, adding that the drama boasts of a powerful storyline, whilst also praising its music.
He stated, “It’s a new pairing. I’m working with Saba for the first time.” Abbas noted the project will be a breath of fresh air for viewers too, who have been longing to witness the union of two new faces – who have never worked together before – on the television screen. Moreover, the project is being helmed by Ghabrana Nahi Hai director Saqib Khan. “I’ve had multiple meetings with him [Saqib] and gotten great feedback too,” he said. “I’m having a lot of fun with working with new people. I’ve worked with the same people over and over again, but I’m so looking forward to working with a new lot.” The release date is yet to be announced. Whether Abbas and Qamar’s speculated chemistry lives up to the hype, only time will tell!
