Kangana Ranaut blames Pakistan once again in unsurprising rant

If there is one Bollywood celebrity who wants to perpetually remain in the limelight, it is none other than Kangana Ranaut. The Queen actor is known for her outspokenness and for also creating a stir in the media and across social media. It’s no wonder that she has come to be known as the queen of controversy. And now, the actor is making headlines once again after her Mumbai home was demolished by authorities.

Officers partially demolished her home for allegedly having illegal construction at the premises. Kangana Ranaut reacted to the demolishing, questioning why the demolition took place when such a process was banned till September 30, owing to the Coronavirus pandemic. Pictures of the actor visiting the site after its demolition have been circulating on social media.

“There is no illegal construction in my house, also the government has banned any demolitions in Covid till September 30, Bullywood watch now this is what Fascism looks like#DeathOfDemocracy,” she wrote on Twitter, which she recently joined.

Sharing picture of the demolished site, Kangana penned, “I am never wrong and my enemies prove again and again this is why my Mumbai is POK now #deathofdemocracy.”

What really caught the attention of netizens however, is when she shared one particular picture and wrote, “Pakistan…#Deathofdemocracy” which left her followers shocked.

Of course, Twitter wasn’t having it, especially Pakistanis who came across her tweet. And that was that for Kangana Ranaut. Netizens took jibes at the Panga actor for dragging Pakistan into the mix and making it a part of the issue, when in fact, they have nothing to do with it.

“Dear Kangana, please fight your political/other battles without involving our country’s name. In Pakistan, houses or offices of national heroes are not demolished,” wrote Mehr Tarar.

Another user asserted, “Kangana is not our national hero.”

Other tweets made mention of how Kangana uses Pakistan to stay relevant. “In India, anyone who barks against Pakistan is considered important and a nationalist. Why would she let go of something that keeps her relevant?” questioned one user.

Here are a few more reactions to her tweet:

Earlier this month, Pakistani actor Feroze Khan took a jab at Kangana Ranaut, saying that she relies on anti-Pakistani rhetoric for gaining attention. The actor, while addressing Ranaut, said that she relies heavily on Pakistan to stay relevant and in the spotlight. “You’d be nowhere to be seen in Bollywood if you stop taking this precious name “PAKISTAN” in your tweets and otherwise. Acha choro yeh batain …, chai? ( Ok leave these dicussions. Tea? ),” Khan said. You can view the tweet here:
