The announcement was retweeted and liked thousands of times and social media was abuzz with opinions on his decision. Many were also left confused as Kanye West has reportedly not submitted any documents for running in the elections.
After his announcement, reports are now in the air that the rapper may be going through a bipolar episode, TMZ reported. According to sources, Kanye West’s loved ones and family are worried that this episode influenced him to say some of what he mentioned in the Forbes story, which included anti-vaxxer and anto-choice commentary.
Sources close to the rapper say that Kanye West goes through a serious episode similar to this one every year. It is also believed that according to his close friends and family, the rapper will return to a steady mental state as he has done in the past as well.

Earlier, Kanye West had signalled that he no longer supports the US President Donald Trump and that he entered the bid to run for the election to win the race. Prior to that, Kanye West was highly supportive of the president.
In his interview with Forbes magazine, he said, “I am taking the red hat off, with this interview,” referring to Trump’s trademark red “Make America Great Again” baseball cap. “Like anything I’ve ever done in my life, I’m doing (this) to win,” he went on to add.
He told the magazine he will run under a new banner – the Birthday Party. Earlier, both West and his reality TV star wife Kim Kardashian West have visited Trump in the White House.
