Kanye West is standing for president and this is what Donald Trump thinks

Just last week, Kanye West took to Twitter to announce that he was going to be standing for president. Taking to Twitter, the rapper and artist took to the micro blogging site and shared his vision for the upcoming presidential bid. Kanye West announced the news via a tweet, in which he wrote, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. He went on to add, “I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.”

While Kanye West may have made the announcement, it is still unclear whether he has actually taken any steps to stand in the running for the next President of the United States. Of course, fans are overjoyed by the news with many focusing on the fact that Kim Kardashian would be the next First Lady of the United States. It is also important to note what current president, Donald Trump, had to say about Kanye’s tweet.

In response to the tweet, Donald Trump said his declaration was “very interesting.” Speaking with reporters outside the White House, Donald Trump said that “He May.” “If he did it, he would have to view this as a trial run for what’s going to happen in four years,” Trump said. He also made mention that it may now be too late for West to register in some states and that he lacks the infrastructure for a presidential bid.

As the country celebrated Independence Day, the rapper made his announcement. His tweet was retweeted half a million times and liked a further million times.

He went on to say, “We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States,” he said and added an icon of a US flag and the hashtag “2020Vision.” No details about his alleged campaigns have been unveiled thus far.
