Mahira Khan exudes old world charm in latest shoot; brides-to-be take note

Mahira Khan is one celebrity who needs no introduction and she has very firmly made her mark in the industry. She is currently at the highest peak of her career and has certainly created a niche for herself. The starlet has a strong presence in the industry and her fan following expands globally. She rose to fame with her work in Humsafar alongside Pakistan’s heartthrob, Fawad Khan and has since made waves in the industry. She has also played a number of versatile roles in prominent dramas including Neeyat, Sadqe Tumhare and Shehr-e-Zaat and has also made her mark across the border in Rahul Dholakia’s Raees; alongside Shahrukh Khan.

An actor of Mahira Khan’s stature has the ability to expand their work beyond what they’re known for. For this reason, she is also the face of a number of brands and has been part of a number of prominent campaigns in the country. She has represented Pakistan at the International Cannes Film Festival and we love scrolling through her Instagram feed from time to time. Mahira Khan was recently part of a new bridal collection and with festive season around the corner, brides-to-be need to be taking note.

Mahira Khan’s latest shoot for designer Mohsin Naveed Ranjha boasts an array of hues, textures and silhouettes. More than anything, Mahira Khan exudes old world charm in her recent pictures. The actor is an avid user of social media and often takes to her Instagram to share glimpses of her personal life and work to keep her fans engaged. Taking to her Instagram, she shared pictures from the shoot and we have been left in awe.

One of our favourite looks from the shoot is Mahira Khan clad in the most regal yet traditional red velvet lengha choli which is fit for any girl who wants to exude old world charm on her big day. Mahira Khan is clad in a deep red-hued lengha choli which is adorned in rich gold zari and tilla work and floral detailing which remains timeless and classic. The hand embellished two-tiered lengha is draped with a magnificent organza and cotton net dupatta with a sensational gold border and is also fully worked. This ensemble is what every desi girl’s bridal dreams are made of.

The outfit is teamed with a contrasting striped pouch and rounded off with gold trimming. She is clad in a heavy neck piece, statement earrings, a teeka and glass bangles to round off the look. The look is completed with a sombre hairstyle which comprises a loose bun and adorned with a jhoomer to make it all the more traditional.

For another look, Mahira Khan was given a more feminine touch and was clad in a peachy coral ensemble. The fruity-hued bridal comprises an enriching brocade gharara paired with a long raw silk shirt. The outfit is complete with enchanting gota and pearl embellishments. The outfit is a real statement piece and is sure to leave heads turning this festive season. To further up the style quotient, the ensemble is rounded off with a net and organza dupatta and accessorised with a pretty velvet pouch.

The hair and makeup for this look is no less statement making. Mahira Khan was given loose beach waves parted in the middle with loose strands left to overlap on her face. She was given deep, kohl-rimmed eyes and an overall peachy complexion. The look was rounded off with a glossy look and antique jewellery and we think Mahira Khan looks like a class apart in both the looks.
