Here is a great piece of news for all the Web-series lovers who couldn’t watch Barwaan Khiladi. Mahira Khan and Nina Kashif’s web series is all set to make its way from OTT to your television screen soon. It is Mahira Khan‘s first production under her banner The Soulfry Films with Nina Kashif where she stood behind the camera and wore the producer’s cap flawlessly. The news came on Express Entertainment on Friday whereby it was announced that the web series is all set to start on August 11, 2022, at 8 pm and will air every Thursday at the same time.
What Is Barwaan Khiladi All About?
The story revolves around Akbar (Daniyal Zafar) who dream to play national-level cricket all his life. Finally, his dreams come true when he is selected in the Lahore cricket League as the 11th player. But the twist comes when Jahangir (Shahveer Jafri) replaces him through unfair means and becomes the 11th player making Akbar the additional 12th player (Barwaan Khiladi).
Starring Danyal Zafar, Shahveer Jafry, Kinza Hashmi, Khaqan Shahnawaz, Zarrar Khan, Meer Yousuf, Kinza Hashmi, Sarmad Khoosat, Mira Sethi, and many more. The web series is about the passion and love of the OG of sports, cricket but also the bias and prejudice faced by the upcoming sports stars who otherwise just want to enter cricket teams on pure merit basis.

Fawad Khan Is Making A Guest Appearance In The Mini-Series
Barwaan Khiladi has an amazing ensemble cast with debut actors but here is a catch. Fawad Khan is making a guest appearance as a coach for Akbar’s (Daniyal Zafar) character. Cricketer Shoaib Malik is also making a guest appearance for the series. Written by Shahid Dogar and wearing the Director’s hat was Motor Cycle Girl fame Adnan Sarwar, the series starts on 11th August.
