Mahira Khan’s Best All-Red Looks Over The Years

One of the best actresses in Pakistani cinema today, Mahira Khan has a fan following in millions. The starlet is not only popular for the countless local film and TV projects she has starred in but is also a famous name in the Bollywood industry following her stint in Raees, opposite Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. The Humsafar leading lady made global headlines after her breathtaking outfits at Cannes Film Festival 2018, with each of her looks making a mark on spectators. But if there is one colour she loves to sport, it has to be red! The beauty has been spotted in countless red ensembles over the years, pairing each of them with complementing accessories and footwear. Here are our three favourite looks of the hottest lady in red:

The sari look:

Hands down, this has to be one of our favourite and most elegant looks. The style icon stunned in a shocking red sari, featuring white embroidery on the pallu. She opted for a three-quarter sleeve fitted blouse. We love how the rest of the sari was more-or-less plain, allowing the red colour to do the talking. Mahira completed her look with a pair of traditional jhumkas and minimal makeup. Definitely a look that is bound to go down in fashion books!

The princess look:

She looked straight out of a fairytale in this strapless red number for the promotions of her film Superstar. The voluminous gown featured a long trail and layers over layers of frayed flounces and feathers. A Valentine’s Day special custom-made by renowned international designer Goerges Hobeika, it fit Mahira like a glove. She complimented her look with a stunning diamond and ruby necklace. Leaving her hair down in loose curls, Mahira looked like a visual treat.

The fusion look:

Mahira opted for a Faraz Mannan formal at the Global Teacher Prize award function in Dubai a few years ago. While pictures of her and Bollywood heartthrob went viral on the internet, Mahira’s look was an equal hit. She went for a ‘East meets West’ look in a red, beaded peplum paired with wide-legged trousers of the same colour. Donning an all-natural makeup look, she went for blow-dried hair and delicate earrings. We absolutely loved the look!
