Maya Ali is no new face in Pakistani cinema. She has undoubtedly become one of the most popular stars in showbiz. From her stellar acting to dancing skills, she has managed to accomplish a great deal in a short span of time. A force to be reckoned with, the starlet has worked with several actors from the industry. But one co-star who she shared crackling chemistry on-screen with is singer-actor Ali Zafar. When the duo’s 2018 film Teefa in Trouble hit cinemas two years ago, it attracted a large footfall in theatres. The movie may not have gone on to becoming a blockbuster in their careers but both stars were praised for their acting stints and silver-screen pairing among other things.
As Teefa in Trouble clocked in two years today, Maya was quick to recall the journey while shooting for the film. Taking to Instagram, she shared, “Teefa and Anya,” alongside a heart emoji. Maya added, “A project close to my heart, two years of Teefa in trouble. A lot of fun, laughter, hard-work and team work made it more special for each of us. There are so many memories that I will cherish forever.”

She uploaded a slideshow of some of the most memorable moments from the sets of Teefa in Trouble, a drool-worthy photoshoot of the pair and a behind-the-scene video. Ali also shared a never-seen-before scene from Teefa in Trouble on July 20. Sharing a post on the micro-blogging site Twitter, he penned, “Today on the 2nd anniversary of #TeefaInTrouble we decided to release a scene which we had to delete to contain the overall length of the film.
