In a year that has brought us bad news and only bad news, it has been hard to remain hopeful. From natural disasters, to a global pandemic, to plane crashes and forest fires, to global warming on the rise to people being killed for their race; it seems to be never ending. Many of us have stopped watching the news with fear that each time we turn on the television, we will bear the brunt of more bad news. While that may be the case, there have also been some small moments of happiness and small bouts of good news seeping through the bad.
And that can be said for Pakistani actor, Momal Sheikh who has welcomed the most adorable baby girl into the world. The actor, who is known for her roles in tv serials like Kadoorat, Silsilay, Mein Tum Aur Woh and Happy Bhag Jaeygi has been laying low the past few months as she was expecting her second child. And now there is good news all around as the actress gave birth to her baby girl earlier this month and fans are ecstatic.
Taking to Instagram, the actor penned a note to announce the arrival of her baby girl. The post was written as though it was from the perspective of her son, Ibrahim and the picture shows the new arrival gripping the finger of her elder brother in the most adorable way. “By the grace of Allah, I am proud to announce an addition to the Nawaz/Sheikh family! Please welcome my baby sister, Alyeha Nader Nawaz, born on 20.08.20 Please keep my family in your prayers. Proud and super excited big brother, Ibrahim Nader Nawaz,” the post read.
A number of celebrities rushed to the comments section to congratulate the new mother and sent their well wishes across to the whole family. And now, Momal Sheikh has shared yet another post in which the whole family can be seen together for the first time since Alyeha’s birth. In the picture, Momal Sheikh can be seen standing beside her husband, Nader Nawaz as he holds their baby girl in his arms. The couple is surrounded with lots of colourful balloons and a delicious looking cake.
