Taking to his Twitter handle, the premier shared, “Because of Corona (COVID-19), 2020 has been difficult for us and for people around the world. But by the grace of God, we are far better than most. We have succeeded not only in protecting our people but also in saving them from starvation. We are moving towards the goal of transforming Pakistan into a welfare state.” He then went on to address the Ehsaas programme, mentioning how it will help those in need.

PM Khan added, “Our Ehsaas programme is a means of providing social security and our health card scheme means adequate access for the poor to health and treatment facilities.” He mentioned his “commitment for the New Year” is the completion of two big projects.

We hope that other provinces will also implement this plan.
