Priyanka Chopra walks down memory lane, recounts Miss India pageant

Priyanka Jonas is celebrating 20 years in the industry and took to her social media to announce that she would be sharing 20 of her most monumental moments of the past 20 years. She shared a video on her Instagram page in which she urged her followers to join her as she takes this trip down memory lane.

“It’s time for a celebration… 2020 marks my 20 years in the entertainment industry! What?! How did that even happen? You all have been by my side throughout this journey and your loyalty and support means the world to me! Join me as I take this trip down memory lane and celebrate,” she wrote as part of her post.

And now, the actor has shared her first memory with her followers in which she revisits the days she was part of the Miss India pageant. Priyanka Chopra was crowned Miss India in 2000 and shared footage from the pageant. “Alright guys, we’re doing this! I’m watching footage from my Miss India pageant in 2000! This is where it all began… If you’ve never seen these before, you are in for quite a treat. #20in2020…” she wrote while sharing the footage.

She recounted the moments where it all began stating that, “I turn 20 in 2020. It all started when I won Femina Miss India pageant in 2000.” Priyanka Chopra can be seen watching the video and her reactions are priceless. Throughout the video, Priyanka Chopra can be heard taking jibes at herself, for her hair and clothes. She jokes about the clothes she is wearing and also questions where she lost all her luscious hair.

Priyanka Chopra can also be seen imitating some of her moves from the pageant and jokes about the crown full of thorns atop her head. Priyanka Chopra then confesses that she never expected to win the pageant and repeats the question all the participants were asked in the final round. “If you were God in the garden of Eden, who would you punish for the eternal sin? Adam, Eve or Satan?”, and Pee Cee’s response was, “I would punish Satan, the serpent because I believe that evil is instigated not created. Eve thought Satan was right. She believed him. Let us get a moral from this — to decipher between good and bad without being biased.”

We can’t wait to see what other monumental moments Priyanka Chopra has in store for her fans and followers.
