Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad: Twitter Users Cannot Wait For This Fahad Mustafa, Mahira Khan-Starrer

The coronavirus pandemic caused a major blow to the film and cinema circuit in Pakistan. From postponed shootings to delayed releases and the shutting down of theatres since mid-March, it seems like the entertainment industry is finally getting back on track, with a bevy of anticipated projects in the pipeline. Among them is Fahad Mustafa’s upcoming venture alongside superstar Mahira Khan. This is the first time the duo will share screen space together and their fans are all for it. “There is a lot of patriotism in the film. I can assure you there will be lots of goosebumps and nostalgia too but the story will be told through situations, not violence. We had a blast shooting and I had a great time dancing and working with Mahira Khan. I am happy we’re in it together because for me this is one of the biggest films I have done till date,” Fahad told The Brown Identity earlier while speaking about Nabeel Qureshi’s upcoming directorial.

 

Titled Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, the cop film is one of the most highly-awaited releases of the year and Twitter thinks so too! The hashtag #FahadMustafa has been trending on the micro-blogging site since morning and fans are waiting with bated breaths for the release date to be announced, which for now seems somewhere towards the end of 2020. “Two best actors pair up for the most awaiting movie Quaid-e-Azam. Hope for the best,” penned a user, referring to one of Mahira and Fahad’s dances from the forthcoming film. Another user posted a picture of Fahad in fresh cop avatar and wrote, “First look| Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad Official teaser is coming out very soon. Goodluck!” A user posted a string of pictures of a candid yet excited Fahad from his Jeeto Pakistan show and captioned it, #FahadMustafa After seeing his name is still trending No.1 on Twitter.”

 

 

 

Another user posted a screenshot of Fahad and Mahira’s dance sequence in the film and wrote, “This look! Guys get ready for action. This is not Bollywood or Hollywood this time. @TheMahiraKhan action in Pakistani film with one of my favs @fahadmustafa26. Support them guys!” A similar post read, “#FahadMustafa Can’t wait to see the them together! First Look Poster Just Wow. Most anticipated film #QuaidAzamZindabad.”

While speaking about Fahad in a previous interview with BBC Urdu, the Raaes starlet said, “I have never worked with Fahad Mustafa. I really wanted to work with him but there just wasn’t any time. I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of projects the two of us have been offered together but the timing has never been right.” She added, “But there’s mutual respect. I respect him and I like him a lot as an actor. I like that he supports people and it’s really imperative to me that a person should support others and our industry for that matter.” We cannot wait to see their crackling chemistry on-screen!
