Raqs E Bismil Episode 7: Imran Ashraf’s Musa Continues To Face His Father’s Wrath

“Raqs E Bismil” shines each week with Sarah Khan and Imran Ashraf’s intense love story. The show stars Imran Ashraf, Sarah Khan, Momin Saqib, Anoushay Abbasi, Mehmood Aslam, Javeria Abbasi, Nida Mumtaz, Furqan Qureshi, Saleem Mairaj, Gul E Rana and others and has been written by Hashim Nadeem and directed by Wajahat Rauf. Last we saw, Musa kidnapped Zohra and then, later, returned her to her home and, as a result, was stripped of his title.

Episode 7 continues on Musa’s (Imran Ashraf) dethroning and “punishment.” With his father removing Musa from his position and replacing him with Isa (Momin Saqib), Musa is made to feel the shame of his actions. One thing must be said though – Musa’s love is pure and it’s the purity of that love that keeps him going despite all this humiliation. Sakina (Anoushay Abbasi) takes joy in this scene, adding oil to the fire. Sakina is a victim in this entire situation herself, but the desire for revenge has consumed her and she’s unwilling to rest until Musa suffers the way she has. It’s her anger that makes her out to be a villainous character, but it’s also easy to understand her point of view. Anoushay Abbasi is doing a great job.

Another angle that makes this show beautiful is the relationship between Isa and Musa. Both brothers have so much respect for each other, which makes this change of power difficult for both of them. Isa has always seen Musa as his role model and could never imagine taking over his position, but now that he’s in that place, he struggles with his brother being treated as “lower.” While Sakina is out for revenge, Musa is trying to protect his brother. This only adds to the stress between Sakina and Isa’s marriage, which is already under strain.

On the other end, Zohra (Sarah Khan) is a different sort of woman. She hears the news of Musa being disowned and is visibly bothered by it. She does not have a high opinion of men due to her background and her understanding of what men are capable of. However, she finds herself slowly being affected by Musa and is gradually beginning to care for him. At the same time, she is being pursued by Furqan Qureshi’s character, a man who is already married, but wishes to start a relationship with her (of the disrespectful kind). One can predict that this disrespectful sort of attention will push Zohra towards Musa. But will their love be successful or will Sakina’s curse ultimately consume their happiness?
