From Chupke Chupke to Ishq Jalaibi, these drama serials were a visual treat for all of us.
Drama serials aired during Ramadan have become kind of a thing and audiences wait every year for light-hearted and refreshing content. After the whole day of fasting and prayers, we love some family bonding time after iftar, chit-chat with hot cuppa chai or coffee, and last but not least watch mandatory Ramadan special drama serials. Last year we enjoyed watching the visual treat that was smash hit drama Suno Chanda starring Iqra Aziz and Farhan Saeed in the lead roles. This year though, the audience was in for a surprise because it was not 1, not 2 but 3 drama serials that aired during Ramadan.
These three big Ramadan fictions to air were Tana Bana, Chupke Chupke, and Ishq Jalaibi. The light content showcased by these drama serials amassed a huge fan following and how. Now if you want to beat some boredom, these drama serials are best to binge-watch.
Ishq Jalaibi
If you love some family drama with a touch of rom-com, Ishq Jalaibi is one for your liking. After the huge success of Suno Chanda, writer Saima Akram Chaudhary came with another blockbuster script Ishq Jalaibi and boyyy was she successful in evoking all sorts of sentiments in her audiences. With a fresh pairing of Madiha Imam and Wahaj Ali, the drama showed a different angle on love.
We absolutely loved the bond between Nana (Qavi Khan) and bhanji(Madiha Imam). Ishq Jalaibi also touched on sensitive topics like family inheritance and its debacles but in a very light tone which made the drama all the more watchable and interesting.
Chupke Chupke
After the huge success of the blockbuster drama Suno Chanda, director Danish Nawaz presented his labour of love that is drama Chupke Chupke for its audience. Chupke Chupke is a story of two families’ split narratives and how love found its ways in unexpected twists and turns. The drama shows Ayeza Khan and Osman Khalid Butt (Meenu and Faazi) as the lead pairs in a love-hate relationship. We absolutely love how seasoned actors like Asma Abbas and Uzma Baig are at loggerheads with each other, yet make us laugh at the same time.
Apart from the ensemble cast that includes acclaimed actors like Ali Safina and Mira Sethi, we also witnessed new faces like Arsalan (Comics by Arsalan) who also made their debut. We are sure you will definitely enjoy this light-hearted romantic comedy with a lot of diverse characters.
Tana Bana
Featuring Alizeh Shah and heartthrob Daniyal Zafar as a lead pair, Tana Bana was a light-hearted and refreshing family drama with a very happening ensemble cast. Alizeh’s character of a young, ambitious, full-of-life young Zoya who places her education on top priority while Danyal’s character Zain is a young, loving, and supportive husband. The twist however comes from Zain’s mother who plays the victim and imposes her likes and dislikes on her son.
Each episode of the drama serial brings forth a positive message.
It highlights the common problems which every family goes through when a new member enters a family. The drama serial Tana Bana features big wigs like Danyal Zafar, Alizeh Shah, Komal Rizvi, Hassan Noman, Javeria Abbasi, Amir Qureshi, and Ismath.
