Sajal Aly, Jemima Goldsmith Share Pictures Together From The Sets Of What’s Love Got To Do With It?

2021 kicked off to an exciting start for showbiz star Sajal Aly. In January this year, the actor took the internet by storm when it was confirmed that she would be joining the cast of TV producer Jemima Goldsmith’s What’s Love Got To Do With It. Soon after, reports suggested that Bollywood A-lister Shabana Azmi had also been roped in for the project, alongside Lily James, Shahzad Latif and Emma Thompson. Just when we were able to digest the news, Jemima and Sajal once again set social media on fire, after uploading pictures with each other from the sets of the forthcoming film. The film is being helmed by Indian film-maker Shekhar Kapoor.

Jemima posted pictures with Sajal on Instagram and captioned the image, #WhatsLoveGotToDoWithIt, alongside multiple star emojis. Following suit, the O Rangreza starlet also shared the same images on her Instagram handle, writing, “#memoriesofalifetime.” Jemima then took to her Twitter account and posted photos with Sajal and Shabana. She penned, “I get to work with these South Asian screen legends Shabana Azmi and Sajal Aly.”

Sajal received an overwhelming response from her fans and colleagues on her Instagram post, with many including Amna Ilyas, Azfar Rehman and Sadia Ghaffar congratulating her and conveying their best wishes for her upcoming venture. Jemima will be writing and producing her first film, What’s Love Got To Do With It? A romantic-comedy, it will be backed under her banner Instinct Production. According to Daily Mail, the film is a cross-cultural rom-com about love and marriage, set between London and South Asia. While details surrounding the project have been kept under tight wraps, reports suggest that Jemima took inspiration from her former marriage to Pakistani PM Imran Khan, for her storyline of the film. We cannot wait to see what these powerhouse talents have in store for us!
