Sana Javed’s Fake Twitter Account Is Making The Rounds For The Wrong Reasons: Actor Gives Clarification

Actor Sana Javed is a popular face amongst TV audiences primarily for her stellar stints in drama serials. She is also known for being a designer favourite when it comes to being a showstopper at fashion weeks. Having gained stardom over the years, the starlet has now garnered even more followers after her marriage to singer Umair Jaswal, a singer who enjoys a massive fan base in Pakistan. While Javed stands up for issues close to her heart, she is not someone who would out-of-the-blue trigger a political debate on social media platforms. However, a bogus Twitter account in her name has now sparked an outrage amongst netizens, propelling Javed to finally issue a clarification.

Javed mentioned that someone has made a fake profile of hers on the micro-blogging site and has been posting controversial tweets, something she herself was not familiar with until it started making the rounds on the internet. Taking to her Instagram, she shared a screenshot of the tweets on her stories. One of them read, “India is responsible for the bomb blasts in Pakistan.”

The same user then went the extra mile to call out various Pakistani political figures for supporting the alleged acts. “Guys, please report this account. It is not me. Someone is using my name and tweeting political stuff,” she wrote alongside the screenshot. Javed noted that many renowned journalists have started retweeting the same on their respective accounts, assuming the comments have been made by her. She added, “Sadly, senior journalists have started retweeting from this account. Please report this profile as soon as possible. My official Twitter handle is mentioned in my bio.” Javed and Jaswal exchanged vows in a private nikkah ceremony on October 20. The event was attended by close friends and family members, with images of the new couple going viral on the internet.
