Responding to his post, one fan question Shaan about “state employed ideas to match framed ideology.” The actor replied with, “The love for the motherland is not framed. To bring the passion of patriotism in the youth is not alluring them but bringing the fire back in their hearts by the power of music and poetry. The state of Pakistan wants each of us to be a Pakistani, not slaves. Respect our own.”

A strong supporter of PM Imran Khan’s PTI government, Shaan earlier made a few comments on how the content being produced on TV should be controlled. “Either he can stitch #Pakistan back, or he can fight battles with people,” he said about Khan, adding that the premier should be given enough time to prove himself. “I am not from PTI or any other political party. The race is not yet finished. Give him (Imran Khan) enough time to prove himself.” As a Pakistani, I feel that this (PTI government) is the last hope for democracy in the country.”
