Following the confirmation, Naya Rivera’s family made a statement and requested privacy during this difficult time. Meanwhile, the friends and creators of Glee, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennann have decided to honour Naya Rivera in the sweetest way possible. They have decided to start a college fund for Josey. In a statement to Us Weekly on July 14, the group said, “Our hearts go out to her family, especially her mom, Yolanda, who was a big part of the Glee family and her son Josey. The three of us are currently in the process of creating a college fund for the beautiful son Naya loved most of all.”
