Covid-19 has pushed people to stay inside their homes. One of the best distractions we all have is of course binge-watching Netflix. The latest show to be loved by all is the American drama television miniseries, The Queen’s Gambit. Set in the Cold War era and based on Walter Tevis’ 1983 novel of the same name, it explores the story of an orphaned chess genius Beth Harmon, who struggles with addiction in pursuit of becoming the greatest chess player in the world. Suitable Boy I agree and I didn’t even try watching. Queen’s Gambit was a great story. What’s the issue with that?

My main issue is with Suitable boy tbh. Didn’t enjoy it at all. I don’t agree that Queen’s Gambit was ‘mediocre’. The show in itself is good but I found the pacing slow. In the first half at least. Loved the last episode though
