This is how much Salman Khan will earn per episode of Big Boss 14

Salman Khan, aka Salu bhai, has given his audiences one hit after another and there’s no wondering why he has taken the industry by storm. He has truly carved out a niche for himself and has been making waves ever since his debut film, Biwi Ho To Aisi back in 1989. He is recognised for all his versatile roles in a number of films including the likes of Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijan, Bharat, Race 3 and Hum Saath Saath Hain amongst many others. Salman Khan has also been the face of a number of brands and has also been a part of a number of campaigns.

He also diversified into the world of reality TV and the small screen and has been the host of the long running reality TV show, Big Boss. The show has proved to be rather influential and of course, Salman Khan’s hosting skills come at a great cost. As Big Boss season 14 is set to commence, speculations were being raised pertaining to his fee for the next season. According to a leading Indian daily, the actor has managed to score a deal worth INR4.5 billion (450 crores) with the makers of the show.

According to a source, “While the three-month stint works out to INR480 crore (4.8 billion), the makers and he agreed to seal the deal at INR450 crore (4.5 billion). The amount is inclusive of his fee for promos and virtual press conferences.” The source went on to add that its producers are willing to pay the remuneration since they know Khan is the primary reason for its popularity.

According to another leading Indian daily, Big Boss 13 has reportedly been extended by a further five weeks meaning that the grand finale will now be aired in February, 2021. The producers of the show are now said to be paying Salman Khan an additional INR200 million per episode to continue as a host. With the fee hike, his new remuneration is a staggering INR85 million per episode, meaning that he will take home a hefty sum of INR2 billion and more for the entire season.
