This is what Yasir Hussain thinks of international celebrities

Yasir Hussain is outspoken and never fears to speak his mind. He is an avid user of social media and especially loves to take to Twitter to share his thoughts and whatever is on his mind. Just recently, the actor took to his Instagram story and shared a tweet which showed pictures of two Pakistanis who bore resemblance to the famed Turksih actor of Dirilis: Ertrigul; Engin Altan Duzyatan.

The tweet referred to the two Pakistani men as Pakistani Turgut and Pakistani Ertugrul.Yasir Hussain then responded to the tweet and asserted that they would never get the same level of impoortance as their Turkish counterparts. “Inko koi nahi poochyga (no one will pay heed to them),” he wrote. “Kyunke ghar ki murgi daal barabar or bahar ka kachra bhi maal barabar (Because home cooked chicken is equivalent to lentils while international garbage is still worth cashing in),” added the celebrity.

After the actor shared this tweet to his story, a number of screenshots were taken and have been circulating across social media. The screenshot was also picked up by a local magazine and Anoushey Ashraf then took to the comments section and shared her remarks there. “Let’s just gently remind Yasir that no one is Kachra (garbage) for one,” she said. “And even if their work isn’t at par to his liking, actors from around the world must be respected,” she added.

Anoushey Ashraf then went on to explain the “unspoken bond of mutual respect” that artists from around the world must share, given everyone has their own struggles. “Having said that, Ertu?rul is far from garbage, if anything the series is an eye opener,” she asserted.

The actor believes that ever since Dirili?: Ertu?rul aired on PTV, viewers have begun questioning and rejecting the ‘garbage’ content they are being fed otherwise.

“People are finally rejecting ‘kachra’ work at home and looking out for better scripts, shows and budgets,” Anoushey said. To conclude the point she was trying to make, she pointed out how the people in the picture that was shared, received the attention they did because of the serial, and not because of anybody in Pakistan. “So thanks to the foreign drama that inspired these guys to come forward. There are always pros and cons to every situation, let’s just look at the good sometimes,” Ashraf concluded.

We think Anoushey Ashraf gave as good as she can get!
