With the variety of content available for us to see online, we have seen some of the most bizarre things on social media. From strange kitchen hacks, to makeup hacks to TikTok challenges and all the other things that keep us perpetually entertained. Social media has become a learning hub, a portal where we can learn a number of things, be it recipes or makeup tricks, or how to train your dog; there is something for everyone.
Social media taught us how to contour and bake, how to make pancake mixture from scratch and how to create the perfect brow arch! We’ve seen the craziest makeup hacks, some that should be tried and others which should most certainly not. There are constantly new ways and methods to do makeup and creative ways to completely enhance your features. One such hack we came across is the new way to tame your eyebrows. We thought we had seen it all but when we came across this technique, we found it more bizarre than anything. And all you need is a bar of soap! Yes, you read correctly, soap!
While we would normally advise you opt for a good brow gel that keeps your brows in place, there may come a day when you are out of the gel. And if you’ve grown your brows out and have a thicker set that needs to be tamed and kept in pace, then brow gel is your saving grace. And the day you run out of it, can be your biggest nightmare. But we got you!
To try this strange but effective soap hack, you will need a wet spoolie, (the brush that looks like a mascara wand). Now take a clear or colourless soap bar and swipe the spoolie across the soap bar. Use the spoolie to comb your eyebrows in place and it works wonders. You will notice that the soap acts as an eyebrow gel which will instantly put your brows in place. The only downside to this however is that if you want to fill your brows in with a makeup product later, these products may not work over the soap.
It’s a strange hack, we agree, but don’t put it down till you try it yourself. Let us know your thoughts on this makeup hack!
