“Tinkay Ka Sahara” has been an engaging, interesting story from the very first episode. However, one thing the show could not be called is fast-paced, as the story has been heavy on emotion, low on action. Still, it’s the performances of the lead actors which has earned “Tinkay Ka Sahara” praise. In episode 26, the story is, finally, eventful – but is it nearing an end? Starring Sonya Hussyn, Rubab Hashim, Sami Khan, Haroon Shahid and Saba Faisal in prominent roles, the story has been written by Zanjabeel Asim and directed by Zeeshan Ahmed.
In episode 26, Wasay (Sami Khan) is released from jail, greeted by Durriya (Rubab Hashim) and Adeela (Ayesha Toor), along with Imran (Adnan Jaffar). This is a much-awaited scene, not only to see Wasay reunited with his family, but also to see the confrontation between Wasay and Imran. Will Imran really ever learn his lesson though? This does not seem like a man who will stop meddling. Meanwhile, Qadr (Sonya Hussyn) is at peace now after forgiving Wasay, though internally, she will never forget Wasay’s crimes. We almost cheer when Hammad’s mother (Saba Faisal) leaves her home to join Qadr and the two return to live in the flat Qadr bought with Hammad. On a level, it almost seemed as though the topic of the flat had been forgotten, but this is a strong full-circle moment. Sonya Hussyn has been delivering such an impeccable performance week after week. She is truly the star of the show.
That being said, Sami Khan has been outdoing himself in the past few episodes as Wasay grapples with his actions, his release and whether he’s truly worthy of this gift Qadr has given him. Wasay’s anger did, in fact, cause the loss of a life. Whether it was intentional or not, he was wielding a gun and attempting to threaten his wife with it. It is terrible from all directions. Wasay certainly has gone through the gauntlet of emotions and wants to repent, but what is next? While Wasay is now home, how does he go about living his life now? Is it possible to simply move on? How will Wasay make amends for his action in the real world? This will be interesting to see. “Tinkay Ka Sahara” seemingly is at its end – but is it really? In the preview for the next episode, it seems Wasay’s therapist will open the doors for Wasay to talk about his father. Is this indicating that another chapter of the story is beginning?
