Saba Qamar is one Pakistani starlet who has proved her mettle time and time again and has reached great heights in her career. She has carved a niche for herself in the industry and is also the recipient of a number of accolades, including the likes of Lux Style Awards, a HUM award and nominated for a Filmfare Award. She is known extensively for her work in Pakistani dramas including Baaghi, Daastan and Pani Jaisa Pyaar.
Her talent has been recognised across the border in India and she managed to land a leading role alongside the late Irrfan in Hindi Medium. Owing to political pressures however, they were unable to cast her for the sequel of the film. To add to her list of achievements, Saba Qamar also launched her very own YouTube show this year. From bold prints to chic silhouettes and edgy looks, Saba Qamar has come a long way. We’ve been browsing her recent looks and found that the starlet has a fond liking for saris. Feminine Florals
We’re used to seeing the regular saris full of embroidered work, heavy border and adorned with heavy embellishments. Saris are an age-old attire that are customarily worn by Pakistani women at weddings but we’ve noted a change in the trend. Designers are now designing saris that are more wearable, versatile and not so heavy on the pocket. These styles can now be worn for Eid, friend’s engagements and for formal dinners.
Organza saris in particular have seen a growing trend and no one does it better than Saba Qamar. Taking to her Instagram account, she shared some images of herself clad in a plain organza sari adorned with a bold floral print. The sari was teamed with a red satin blouse and the floral print goes all the way to the bottom of the sari where it is draped over her shoulder. With no accessories, Saba Qamar keeps her look minimal and lets the sari do all the talking. She has her hair styled in a wet look and parted to the side and opts for a natural makeup look. With a tinted lip and a natural edge, Saba Qamar sure pulls off this look.
Monochrome letters
As if the previous look wasn’t enough to put our screens on fire, Saba Qamar decided to give her fans some more, this time in a statement organza sari adorned with words in Urdu. The actress was clad in a white organza sari which featured statement sleeves and a halter neck blouse. The bottom of the sari was adorned with hand painted leaves while the rest of the sari was hand painted with Urdu text and Saba Qamar pulls it off with such finesse.
For her hair and makeup look, Saba Qamar opted for her hair tied back in a ponytail and parted on the side which showed off the halter neck. To accessorise the look, she opted for a pair of white statement earrings.The starlet opted for a subtle smokey eye and a nude lip and we are going gaga for this look.
