Outspoken and vocal about her opinions on important subjects, Mehwish Hayat does not beat around the bush. She says it how it is and it is one of the qualities that makes her stand out from her contemporaries in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Of late, the world has been glued to their TV screens, closely following the ongoing US Presidential Elections 2020. With contenders, republican Donald Trump and democrat Joe Biden competing as political rivals, the race seems like a real nip and tuck affair. Hayat recently took to her Instagram and shed light on the same, while also comparing the campaign to Pakistani elections.

"When America sneezes, the world catches a cold.” Was dismayed to learn from friends that areas in major cities are being boarded up expecting civil unrest. A real sense of deja vu! Seems we are not the only ones who have a monopoly on "interesting" elections. Let's see who gets the keys to the White House for the next four years. Any thoughts on who it should be? #uselection2020 🇺🇸 #Biden #Trump #usa🇺🇸
Posting a collage of Biden and Trump on the photo-sharing platform, the Jawaani Phir Nahi Ani star captioned her post, “When America sneezes, the world catches a cold.” And we cannot agree more! Hayat added, “Was dismayed to learn from friends that areas in major cities are being boarded up expecting civil unrest. A real sense of deja vu! Seems we are not the only ones who have a monopoly on “interesting” elections.”
She asked her followers who they think would “get the keys to the White House for the next four years”. Hayat ended her post with, “Any thoughts on who it should be?” Many took to the comments section with their guesses. While some hooted for Trump, others supported Biden. However, one of her fans replied with, “Tough question!” Hayat was also asked who she is cheering for between the two politicians. With Biden currently in the lead, having garnered 264 votes, Trump is not far behind with 214 votes. Whatever the outcome may be, we cannot wait to see which one of the two will be crowned the President of the United States Of America.
