Weekly PCR Tests Mandatory For Unvaccinated Children Above 12 Years Of Age In Dubai

The New PCR protocol by the NCEMA UAE will be applicable 30-day from the first day of school. 
It is School time!! The month of September is just days away and the new session is about to get started. Since the new session is beginning, the UAE government has become more vigilant, because the Covid-19 has bought many challenges for families. Hence the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) have come up with a new set of protocols for the educational institutes including nurseries and daycare centers, public and private schools, public and private higher education facilities, and training centers and institutes across Dubai.
Let’s get to know all the protocols NCEMA UAE has drafted before we let our kids go to schools and other educational institutions.
The New PCR Protocol Be Applicable 30-day From The First Academic Day:
According to Covid-19 new protocol by NCEMA UAE, the rule will be applied 30-day from the first day of school to give all children a chance to gets their jabs done. During this time, the students will be giving PCR tests every after two weeks. Distance learning will be available to vaccinate and unvaccinated students both.
Dear Parents Download AlHosn Application While Your Child Goes To School Worry-Free:
According to Dr. Farida Al Hosani, official spokesperson of the UAE healthcare sector said on the 22nd of august during the conference said parents would need to show proof of kids’ vaccination on the AlHosn app. PCR test results and vaccination certificates must be printed and brought to school.
Dr. Farida Al Hosani, The Federal Government’s Health Spokeswoman, urged “All Children Aged 3 to 17 To Get the Vaccine”:
The officials are urging all parents to get their children vaccinated as we want to prepare students for face-to-face classes as best as we can and as safe as we can. In the UAE, Sino pharm vaccines can be administered to children aged three and over; while Pfizer jabs are given to those aged 12 and above. On the other hand, students who are exempted from vaccination (for medical and otherwise reasons) will have to present an exemption certificate and get their weekly PCR tests as per Covid-19 protocols.
Students and Academic Staff Will Sign Health Declaration Forms:
According to new COVID-19 protocols for educational institutes, Students and Academic staff will sign a pledge stating they are free from Corona infections or were in no way in contact with an infected person.
Educational Institutes Are Responsible In Distributing Students Into Groups To Avoid Overcrowding:
1-meter social distancing stickers will be placed in educational institutes to serve as reminders and guides. Placards promoting social distancing as well as hand hygiene will be placed and sanitizing will be provided.
The Safety Personnel Will Be Notified Immediately If Students Or Staff Shows Signs Of Infection:
If students or staff are showing COVID-19 symptoms, the health and safety personnel must be notified immediately and guardians must be informed of the suspected cases with regular updates. Isolation rooms must be provided by the educational institute to properly handle confirmed and suspected COVID-19 cases.
Students And Staff Must Bring Their Own Prayer Mats And Personal Safety Tools:
 Personal protection tools must be used and cannot be shared, and handshaking must also be avoided. When using prayer rooms, all students and staff must bring their own prayer mats and wear their masks during prayer. Prayer rooms will be cleaned and sterilised after each use.
