Woh Pagal Si Episode 15: Sarah And Shazma’s War Takes a New Turn

“Woh Pagal Si” is the type of show that one can turn their brains off and enjoy without being too affected.  Starring Babar Ali, Zubab Rana, Omer Shahzad, Saad Qureshi and Hira Khan in central roles, the story has been written by Sadia Akhter and directed by Faisal Bukhari.  While many may see this as a messy love story, this drama’s highlight is, quite honestly, the war between Sarah And Shazma, played by Hira Khan and Zubab Rana respectively.

In episode 15, things have gotten out of hand for Sarah as Ahsan (Babar Ali) has completely lost trust in her.  Exhausted of Sarah and Shazma’s fights, blaming them entirely on Sarah, Ahsan has decided to get Sarah married.  Of course, now several suitors enter, swarming like flies.  First, Rumi is Sarah’s own choice and while he’s fighting to be with her, Rumi himself is not sincere and is only after Sarah’s money.  On the other end, Bela’s husband is adamant that his family member be married to Sarah – obviously, again, for financial gain -, which puts Bela in an awkward position.  Of course, Zaheen (Saad Qureshi) is visibly in love with Sarah, but would Sarah actually consider him romantically at this very moment?  Of course, this leaves us with the fourth and most hilarious choice – Wahaj (Omer Shahzad).

While Shazma has worked so hard to put this plan into place and marry Ahsan, she did it all for Wahaj….and now Wahaj himself has found an easier means to get rich by scrapping Shazma entirely and going for her stepdaughter.  This is an almost hilarious twist and now Shazma finds herself scrambling to block Wahaj, a man she introduced into the fold herself.

Sarah and Shazma’s fights have been the key story in “Woh Pagal Si” and it’s thoroughly entertaining watching these two women attempt to one-up the other.  With the way things are going at present though, it seems both are at the losing end of things if Sarah winds up marrying Wahaj.  Of course, as viewers, we are rooting entirely for Zaheen, who is a genuinely nice guy and has real feelings for Sarah.  Saad Qureshi is an absolute gem in this role and proves each time he takes on a role that he’s an underrated actor.  Hira Khan has come a long way as an actress.  Initially amateurish in shows like “Phaans” and even “Mere Humsafar,” Hira has arrived as a lead actress and is making quite the impression.  Omer Shahzad is also enjoyable to watch in his negative role while Babar Ali is likable as a man caught between his wife and daughter.  Zubab Rana is beautiful, as always, but desperately needs to work on her dialogue delivery.  Overall, “Woh Pagal Si” continues to be entertaining and allows the audience a few moments to relax and enjoy a show without intensity.
