The moment fans had been waiting for, finally came to light this week! Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston fans were waiting for the moment the former couple reunited and it has finally happened, albeit virtually. Brad and Jen teamed up and came together for Dane Cook’s Feelin’ A-Live, a virtual live table read of the 1982 cult-classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High on Thursday.
The former couple was amongst a star-studded panel who came together for the online event. This included actors Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, Sean Penn, and Julia Roberts among others. The reading was set up as an unrehearsed version of the iconic film, with the stars unaware of the roles they would be handed.
Feelin’ A-Live was an hour-long event which was organised as a fundraiser for Penn’s humanitarian organisation, CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), and Reform Alliance in the fight against Covid-19, as reported by Entertainment Tonight. The online session enabled viewers to donate online via an on-screen donate button as the reading streamed as well as via text.
This online event was the first time the former couple reunited after they met briefly at the SAG Awards earlier this year, pictures of which sent the internet soaring into a meltdown. It marked the first time the two were together since their split in 2005. On the virtual session, Jennifer Aniston was given the role of Linda while Brad Pitt played Brad. Thanks to roles they were handed, the two got to share an especially exciting, romantic moment together as well that left fans reeling in excitement across social media.
In a brief conversation, Jennifer Aniston and Brad exchanged a few words, with Brad Pitt addressing her saying, “Hi Aniston,” to which she responded, “Hi Pitt”. He then asked her “How you doin?” to which she responded, “Good honey” and asked him the same. No matter how big or small the interaction, Brad and Jen fans love when the two reunite.
