Pehli Si Mohabbat: Ali Zafar To Sing Soundtrack For Maya Ali, Sheheryar Munawar Starrer

Fans cannot wait to see one of their favourite on-screen pairings – Sheheryar Munawar and Maya Ali – in the upcoming TV drama Pehli Si Mohabbat. Not only this but they are also waiting with bated breaths for fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin’s acting debut in the Anjum Shahzad directorial. And if this was not enough, it has now been revealed that superstar Ali Zafar will compose the soundtrack for the serial. Taking to his Instagram handle, the Channo singer uploaded a picture of the same. With a paper and cup of tea kept in front of him, Zafar seems to be working on the lyrics, captioning his post, “Time to render the OST for Pehli Si Mohabbat.” We cannot wait!

Yasin also took to the photo-sharing platform earlier and gave a sneak peek of his character along with a long caption. He also shared pictures with the crew. “The experience of working with the stellar team that the incredible Abdullah Seja has put together for his production is nothing short of phenomenal,” he wrote. “From the spectacular director Anjum Shahzad who brings it all to life to the super talented writer Faiza Iftikhar who has written a story that will leave you wanting more to our DOP Shayan Latif whose magic with the camera leaves one spellbound, it’s a show you don’t want to miss.”

Talking to Mira Sethi on her show Hello Mira Sethi, Maya shared that she has never come across anyone in her career who is as passionate about their work as Sheheryar. “You can deprive him of sleep, food, and water. Just ask him to work and you will still see him fresh as ever,” she said. Maya also shared that the producers were eager to cast them together after their crackling chemistry in Parey Hut Love. “Other than this (Pehli Si Mohabbat), every other project I was offered also had Sheheryar. So, we decided to choose a project that people would remember for a long time,” she shared, adding, “Sheheryar is with me in it and the director is Anjum Shahzad, who I’ve never worked with before so I didn’t want to miss this chance. I have also never done a serial with ARY, so it was a complete package.”
