Bakhtawar Bhutto, the daughter of former president Asif Ali Zardari and late prime minister Benazir Bhutto, is set to get engaged to the son of a US-based businessman. The date for the event is November 27, reported Geo News. Bakhtawar’s engagement to Mahmood Choudhry, son of Younas Choudhary, will allegedly be held at Bilawal House Karachi. According to latest reports, the organisers have also asked the guests to get tested for Covid-19 and email the scanned copies of the results. “All attendees are requested to please email a scanned copy of their negative COVID-19 PCR test result 24 hours prior to attendance. This is a mandatory requirement for security clearance,” read the announcement.
The guests will not be allowed to carry mobile phones inside the premises, due to security reasons. “Please note – no photography or mobile phones will be permitted inside the venue and photographs will be available for all guests through our official photographer,” the statement added. “We thank you in advance for adhering to our safety protocols to keep you and your loved ones safe, and enable us all to enjoy the occasion.”
Since the epic marriage of Mohtarma #BenazirBhutto with #AsifAliZardari in 1987 that shook political scenario, the marriage of @BakhtawarBZ with Mr Mehmood hopefully would better bond Sindh with Punjab as crosscultural marriages are best uniters for fragmented societies, Iike us. pic.twitter.com/GEdb52bo7R
