It has been a year of the pandemic… and a year of weddings! A slew of Pakistani celebrities have tied the knot, with Usman Mukhtar being the latest star to join the club. The artist posted the news on his Instagram handle, alongside a beautiful picture of him and his ladylove, and a heartwarming caption. Starting off with his bride’s name, he wrote, “Zunaira Inam Khan. Thank you for making me the luckiest man on earth. I haven’t felt such happiness in a very long time.” He then thanked her for being his biggest support system in good and bad times.
Usman added, “You’ve stood by me in the moments I was down and amplified the happy moments. Been my rock and my support. I am blessed.” He continued, “Dear World – I married this amazing woman today in a small socially distant gathering. Our big day was supposed to be on April 2 but due to the lockdown restrictions from April 1, we had to pull it back.”
The Bench director informed his social media fans that the entire family underwent Covid-19 tests ahead of his big day and all SOPs were strictly followed at the event. “We were tested and followed SOPs. We both need your duas and blessings,” concluded Usman. Clad in an embroidered white kurta and shalwar, Usman looked dapper to say the least. Zunaira was also seen in traditional attire, perfect for a nikkah. Local celebrities congratulated Usman on his wedding. “Congrats! Sending love and positive vibes to you and the missus!” wrote Mushk Kaleem. “Khoobsooratssss Sending so much love to you beautiful people,” penned his Bench co-star Rubya Chaudhry. “Congratulations,” added makeup guru Natasha. Kubra Khan wrote, “Congratulations, dude! Mashallah! May Allah bless you both with eternal love and respect in this world in the next,” while Falak Shabbir posted, “Welcome to the club.” Yumna Zaidi said, “Mashallah, really happy for you as you both make a very grateful couple. MashAllah. Congratulations.”
