Wonder Woman 1984 Set For Christmas Release: Twitter Users Cannot Contain Their Excitement

Fans were disappointed when the coronavirus pandemic came in the way of the much-awaited Wonder Woman film. It was initially scheduled for release in June this year. Following several delays amid worldwide uncertainty due to the epidemic, the upcoming movie is now back on track, with the team making an official announcement today. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 1984 is here to save Christmas and will be heading to the streaming platform HBO Max in December. The Patty Jenkins-helmed project also stars Chris Pine in the lead. According to reports, the superhero film will hit international markets on December 16, followed by its release in US cinemas and on HBO Max on December 25.

Ann Sarnoff, CEO of WarnerMedia issued a statement about the unusual release, saying, “As we navigate these unprecedented times, we’ve had to be innovative in keeping our businesses moving forward while continuing to super-serve our fans. We realize that a lot of consumers can’t go back to the movies due to the pandemic, so we also want to give them the option to see Wonder Woman 1984 via our HBO Max platform.” Fans of the fantasy franchise cannot wait to watch the film either. Most American users are referring to the film’s impending release as the “best Christmas gift”, with UK-based fans wondering how they will get to watch it. Please keep safe and wear a mask.” One of the first celebrities to reply to Gadot was Bollywood actor Ali Fazal. “Best of luck Gal! It’s going to be great. Everyone is looking forward to this.”
